Can we bring our own catering or outside food and beverages?
Unfortunately not — outside food and beverages aren't permitted at any of our private events. Everything served is part of the experience as we've designed it. The one exception is the Personal Wine Selection add-on offered at our private workshops.
Can we customize the event or add our own branding?
Everything that can be added or changed is listed on each experience's page — typically a welcome bag placed on each guest's seat. Beyond what's listed, we don't offer modifications of any kind, including branded walls, signage, or changes to the table design. Everything stays within the aesthetic standard of Maayan's Hospitality Group.
How many guests can we bring?
Up to 44 guests at Maayan's Pottery, up to 46 at Maayan's Patisserie, and up to 44 seated plus 10 standing at Wine at Maayan's. All of your guests are included in the price.
Can we bring more guests than the stated capacity?
No — the capacities above are the most our spaces can seat, so we're unable to accommodate additional guests.
We'll have fewer guests than the maximum — is there a discount?
Unfortunately not. A private booking closes out the entire space for the evening, so pricing reflects the buyout rather than the headcount — the price is the same whether you bring four guests or forty.
What if we need to cancel or move the date?
Private bookings are non-refundable. That said, you're welcome to move your booking to another available date with at least two weeks' notice before your original date.
Can you host the experience at our venue?
Unfortunately we can't accommodate off-site events — all private experiences take place at our spaces in SoHo.
Can the workshop itself be modified?
No — each experience is offered exactly as described on its page. What you see is what we host.
Are guests under 21 welcome?
Yes — guests under 21 are welcome at all of our experiences except Wine at Maayan's, which is a wine bar.
Can we arrive early to set up?
Doors open 15 minutes before your start time — perfect for placing welcome bags and greeting your guests as they arrive.
Is gratuity included?
Yes — gratuity is included in the price.
