The Experience
At Maayan's Patisserie, cake decorating becomes a celebratory, design-led hospitality experience set within an intimate, candlelit, vintage European dinner-party atmosphere in the heart of SoHo, New York.
As part of the experience, each guest receives:
- A glass of wine 🥂
- Three (3) vanilla cake layers 🍰
- Vanilla frosting 🍨
- Decorative fruits 🍇
- A piping practice sheet 📜
- Cake-building & decorating supplies 🥄
This experience is beginner-friendly!
Please note: this is a guided free-form hospitality experience, not a step-by-step professional baking class. The focus is on creativity, connection, and having fun while learning the basics of cake decorating.
Perfectionists — please come with compassion. Your first time frosting a cake may feel a little messy or imperfect, and that's completely okay. You're here to try something new and have a beautiful time. ✨
You'll build and decorate your own individual cake, then pack it up to enjoy later at home with your loved ones. Cakes are not eaten during the event, and outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Personal Wine Selection
Each guest receives a glass of wine as part of the experience. If you'd like more for your group, you can bring your own wine selection for $1,000 — just add it when you book. We'll provide the glasses, and your group pours at its own pace.
A Note on Customizations
Private workshops are offered exactly as we've designed them — we're unable to accommodate modifications to the experience itself. That includes branded walls, signage, and any changes to the table design or other design elements: everything stays within the aesthetic standard of Maayan's Hospitality Group, so please don't request exceptions. Gift bags for your guests are very welcome.
Cancellation Policy
Tickets for this event are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please double-check your calendar before purchasing. If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.
Accessibility
As we are located in an old building, there is no elevator, and stairs lead to the experience. If you have any physical accessibility needs, we would love to welcome you at our ADA-compliant experience, Maayan's Pottery.
